My research interests encompasses aquatic systems pollution and Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) for environmental remediation with regard to contaminants of (re)emerging concerns, membrane technologies and processes for water and wastewater treatments, and Water Sanitation and Hygiene. Also, I give interest:
Urban wastewater management and pollution hotspot analyses and mapping;
Enzymatic and Membrane processes for the removal of drugs and AMRs from water and wastewater ;
International Waters issues and implications for public health;
Sustainable drinking water supply and sanitation in developing countries. |
Open to any interdisciplinary project in a field related to one or several topics in my area of expertise. |
I am a Chair of the ARISE grant fellows from the African Academy of Sciences; a founding-member of African Membrane Society; a fellow of the Regional Water, Environment, Sanitation Center Kumasi (RWESCK) Center of Excellence in Ghana. I am a registered profession engineer (#5003218) with the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec, Canada. I also have a broad consulting experience as International Expert in environmental field with UNDP, GFA Consulting Group, and UNIDO.
